The Hero


Stopp was approached by Callboy to create a web campaign for Radiotjänst and Draft FCB. The objective for Radiotjänst was to produce an interactive web based commercial. The user would be able to upload any picture, and then that picture would appear instantly in the web film.
Radiotjänst gave Stopp the opportunity to use all the departments – from grading to online, 3D, and interactive. The filmed material, some of which was shot on the Canon 5d mk2, was sent off to print to give it a distinct film look. After print, the footage was graded and sent to online. In online various elements were brought together including 3D and matte painting.
Once the online work was completed the film was prepared for web with tracking data exports and the generating of alpha channels. Early tests were carried out to provide the interactive department with the right tracking data for each clip. The tracking data was converted using a custom recipe to give us instant
feedback in Flash. A custom web interface was designed to give online the ability to effect blurs and final grading of the uploaded shots as they were streamed in real time.
In this production Radiotjänst and Draft FCB gave Stopp the opportunity to work totally integrated between the different departments. This lead to a truly unique experience.
